Gildor

Life & Personal Development Mentee

Hey there!

I'm 27 and from Greece. On the surface, life’s going pretty well; I’ve built a solid career, have a relationship, social circle, a supportive family, and financial stability. I have multiple hobbies, such as gaming, martial arts and reading whether it’s self-improvement, fantasy or philosophy. I would label myself as pretty active, getting involved in all kinds of activities outside of work, and volunteering.

But here’s the thing: despite everything looking good on paper, something still feels off. I’m not as happy or fulfilled as I thought I’d be by now. I can’t shake this feeling that I’m missing something, like I’m always searching for more, or maybe for something completely different. Should I finally start that business I’ve always talked about? Or maybe go travelling with a backpack and disappear off the grid for a year? These ideas often cross my mind, and I wonder if what I’m really chasing is some deeper sense of purpose, or maybe just a better understanding of who I really am.

At the end of the day, I’m just a 27-year-old trying to figure things out in a world that feels more complicated than ever. I know I’m still young and not supposed to have it "all figured out" yet, but it’s a bit tiring to feel so self-conscious and unsure. I’m not expecting this mentorship to give me answers, but I’d love to get some advice and share a bit of this confusion with someone who’s been in my shoes before.

Thanks for listening!

What I Expect From A Mentor:

Consistent and meaningful conversations is what matters. The frequency can be adjusted based on mutual feeling and availability. 1-2 per month seems reasonable to begin with.
